A simple conclusion by those who have flipped through my website, could be that I like airplanes and electronics. Yes, and it can be spelled Flight Simulator.
Taking a look on the net will show simulator types like a cockpit delivered by truck from a scrapyard, to a single monitor with the pilot sitting on a bed holding a keyboard over crossed legs, both these examples should be respected. My version is between these two extremes, that is, a car seat, several monitors, lots of switches and levers, hacked keyboards and joysticks. The setup does NOT look like any specific cockpit, because I want to fly 1-4 engine planes. The simulator is setup for the flight of the day. The hacking and the soldering is one thing, the other is to fly over places that I have visited in real life. So my "game" is to start from an airfield near the place I like to visit, then return to the airfield, or to another field nearby. Sometimes I land on a straight road or an open field near the visited place. The active picture in the gallery below will link you to the real life stories and pictures.
